Insist on Lionel tools and presses!! Check out my other ZW's and KW's and you will see some or all the rollers are replaced that way. I replaced the rollers with a Lionel Arbor Press and Lionel die tools (made for Lionel by Chicago Rivet and Tool Company) to actually "press" the rollers in. I have professionally replacing the original power cord I have also cleaned the excess carbon off the copper windings (one side shown in picture 4)and have checked all the original carbon rollers and I have replaced all 4 rollers even though it was not needed.
